As the mother of a volleyball player, Kim understands firsthand the opportunities, challenges, and financial commitments associated with competitive youth volleyball. Her inspiration for founding Lake Effect VBC came from her strong belief in the club's coaching staff and her desire to make quality club volleyball more affordable and accessible to families throughout the Erie area.

Kim believes that talented, motivated athletes should have the opportunity to compete, develop their skills, and experience the benefits of club volleyball without financial barriers preventing their participation.

Outside of her professional and volleyball commitments, Kim enjoys playing pickleball, kayaking, cheering on Cleveland baseball, playing the drums, and, of course, volleyball.

Her vision for Lake Effect VBC is simple: exceptional coaching, meaningful opportunities, and competitive volleyball that more families can afford.

“Talent shouldn't be limited by a family's budget. At Lake Effect VBC, we believe every dedicated athlete deserves access to quality coaching and the opportunity to compete.”
